You should get a gym membership and focus on cardio training while you are there such as the treadmill or stationary bike.
When eating, just look for a healthy alternative to unhealthy foods (ie. drink water instead of pop)
The main thing though is that you have to be fully motivated to lose the weight and not let yourself miss workouts or indulge in to many sweets.
