Vaser Lipo Frequently Asked Questions

Here at Riverbanks, prospective patients ask many questions about Vaser Liposuction, so we’ve put together this FAQ to answer the ones asked most.

What is VASER Liposuction?

VASER Liposuction is a highly sophisticated alternative to traditional liposuction. It uses ultrasound technology to emulsify the fat in your body. By turning the fat into a liquid, the fat can be easily removed from the body using a suction cannula.

The technique selectively removes fat without damaging blood vessels, nerves and tissue. As a result of this, it creates far less trauma to the body and reduces the recovery times.

VASER Liposuction can be used in many areas of the body, including the back, the abdomen, breasts and other areas that were previously difficult to sculpt with traditional methods.

Is VASER Lipo better than Smart Lipo?

It’s not a matter of ‘better’ per se; they are very different methods of removing fat from the body. Smart Lipo has some advantages over traditional liposuction, but VASER works differently in the way that it removes the fat and has more advantages than convention lipo and Smart laser solutions.

Simply put, Smart Lipo uses a laser to break up the fat, whereas VASER Lipo uses ultrasound technology. VASER Lipo has demonstrated excellent recovery times, because it does not damage blood vessels, nerves or connective tissues when it is melting the fat.

VASER Lipo is performed under local anaesthesia and greatly reduce risk and recovery times, compared with traditional liposuction.

What can I expect during VASER LipoSelection recovery?

In our experience, patients recover much faster when they have VASER LipoSelection, compared with patients that have experienced traditional liposuction. Unlike conventional liposuction, VASER patients are able to get light exercise within a few days and are fully back to normal within two weeks. Of course, they should keep their dressings on for the full six weeks.

Because VASER is only minimally invasive, and tackles only your body fat, it reduces the trauma to the body, so pain is reduced. This means you will not need to take strong painkillers or numbing medications.

What’s the difference between Liposuction, Liposculture and Liposelection?

These are all marketing terms used within the cosmetic treatment industry for similar products.

‘Liposuction’ is simply the term used for the frequently performed surgical procedure that removes unwanted fat from the body using a suction system.

‘LipoSelection’ is a trade term that is associated with VASER, the advanced ultrasound technology that emulsifies body fat. Unlike traditional liposuction methods, it can be used on densely fibrous areas such as the back.

‘Liposculpture’ is the term used for the technique of using superficial liposuction technology to define the patient’s muscles.

How does VASER Liposelection differ from normal liposuction?

Liposuction has been around for about the last 35 years. Originally plastic surgeons used small cuts in the patient’s skin to suck away large amounts of unwanted fat. Before this, the only way to remove fat was to cut it out, which left horrible, unsightly scarring.

More recently a system of liposuction that uses sophisticated ultrasound technology has been introduced. This is known as VASER Liposuction, or ‘Liposelection’ as it is sometimes known by its trade term.

VASER Lipo breaks down the fatty tissue in the body by using ultrasound. This turns it into a liquid and it is drained away using a cannula. Because VASER uses a non-invasive technology to liquefy the fat, it does not damage any other surrounding nerves or tissue. This means that there is far less bruising and swelling than conventional liposuction.

Will I have tighter skin after using VASER LipoSelection?

VASER is a medical device that uses ultrasound technology to liquefy the fat cells, with much less damage to surround tissues than traditional methods of liposuction. Those clinicians using VASER Lipo say that it does increase the tightening of the skin and reduces the amount of loose skin that follows conventional lipo. The results of VASER LipoSelection include a smoother skin and greater body contouring.

What are the possible risks or side effects of VASER?

It’s a reasonable question, should you be concerned about the risks or the potential side effects? VASER is now known as a safer, less invasive form of lipo and we’ve yet to find a patient that regretted undergoing this terrific new procedure.

The side effects can include swelling, bruising and some fat drainage during the recovery period. But because VASER uses ultrasound technology, it does not damage the surrounding tissues and therefore, patients do not have to put up with the same level of pain, swelling and bruising that normal liposuction causes.

Which areas of the body does VASER Liposelection work best on?

Cosmetic physicians have achieved great success using VASER ultrasound technology to remove emulsified fat from many different areas of the body. We have had excellent success removing unwanted fatty tissue from the following areas:

Abdomen, Thighs, Knees, Buttocks, Hips, Arms, Male Breast Area, Love Handles, Chin and Neck areas.

However, due to the safe, non-invasive method that VASER uses, we perceive that it can be used on practically any area of the body where unwanted fat is stored.

How long will it take to see the results of VASER Liposelection?

You will see immediate results, although there is a minor amount of swelling for about a week after the procedure. When the swelling reduces and any bruising clears up, the results will become clear. Within the six months after the VASER lipo treatment, the collagen in the skin will grow and the skin surrounding the area will tighten to fit your next sculpted shape.

Are the results of VASER lipo permanent?

Let’s be clear about the type of results that you are seeking. Liposuction or LipoSelection are not for weight loss. They reduce the amount of body fat by emulsifying the existing fat and draining it out of the body as a liquid.

Those patients that are significantly disappointed with any kind of lipo procedure are those that put on considerable weight after their treatment. Remember, when you lose fat through lipo treatments, you can still put the weight back on. You should combine any treatment with a healthy diet and exercise regime for the greatest future success.

Best Diet Pills for Quick Weight Loss

Sticking to a diet is hard. Temptations are everywhere you turn. It’s hard to stay on track and avoid your favorite foods without feeling deprived. It’s even harder to stay on a workout program. Some days are more challenging than others, especially when the scale doesn’t seem to budge even when you are working hard at losing weight.

Diet pills can help you stay on track with your weight loss goals. Diet pills make it easier to stay motivated because they help you see results faster. How do you know which diet pills are the best for weight loss? Everyone loses weight at their own pace and has their own set of needs, but there are five basic types of diet pills.

1. Thermogenics: These are diet pills that turn up the heat. They raise your metabolism so you can burn more fat. They aid fat loss while preserving muscle mass.

2. Energy pills: These types of diet pills give you the energy you need to start a good workout routine, move more throughout the day and boost your mood. They are helpful for people who feel sluggish and tired while dieting.

3. Appetite suppressants: Probably the most popular choice in diet pills, appetite suppressants curb your hunger to keep you from overeating. These diet pills are helpful for people who have an insatiable hunger, experience frequent cravings or wish to reduce their daily calories without feeling deprived.

4. Fat blockers: This category of diet pills is growing in popularity. Essentially, they don’t allow your body to absorb the fat you eat. The fat is rushed through your system instead of being stored.

5. Carb blockers: These diet pills work much the same way as the fat blockers. They are especially attractive options for people who love pasta, bread, cereal and other carbs. These pills allow you to eat your favorite carb-loaded meals because they carry the carbs through your system quickly so they aren’t stored as extra body fat.

The type of diet pill you choose depends on the type of eater you are. If you’re not certain which type of eater you are, journal your food and feelings for a week. You will likely see signs of emotional eating, times when you eat for an afternoon pick-me-up or that you prefer to eat a lot of carbs. Once you see what your patterns are, you can determine the best diet pill for your weight loss efforts.

No matter which type of diet pill you choose, you’ll still have to work hard to lose weight. Diet pills are designed to be used as part of a healthy weight loss program. Diet pills won’t help you lose weight and keep it off if you continue to eat whatever you want and remain a couch potato.

Getting active is a key component of the weight loss equation. Using thermogenic diet pills, for example, is not a replacement for daily exercise. The only way to permanently lose weight is to include healthy behaviors. Diet pills can be used as a helpful tool to get your weight loss started and keep you motivated to stick with the program, but you have to do the work too.

Weightloss Without the Bs, Buzzwords, or Fads

Losing weight is a lot more simple than even the simplest plans try to make out – It all boils down to basic physics. The logic that the number of calories entering your body needs to be less than calories put out is something seemingly intuitive, but it is surprisingly often ignored. The problem with most diet plans is they ignore the differences in a person’s metabolism and natural resting rate of calories burned. This is very easy to calculate, and in fact, doesn’t need to be “calculated” at all.

The first thing you need to determine is the average amount of calories you take in per day. Simply take a few days and record on paper the calories you eat. This might seem like a nuisance at first, but once you eventually see results, it becomes second nature. The calories will be available (per serving) on the back of mostly everything you eat or drink.

After you get a few days recorded, find the average calories taken in per day. For our purposes, this is the roughly the amount of calories your body takes in to maintain your current weight. This knowledge is powerful and surprisingly unknown to many trying to lose weight.

Now what? Cut down on calories. Yes, it’s really that simple. You might be thinking “well of course”, however, most people trying to do a method similar to this do it haphazardly and either count incorrectly, or use an arbitrary model of an average person’s daily caloric intake (remember those estimated recommended daily calorie counts on nutrition labels?).

How to go about cutting down on calories is also important. The first thing you need to cut down in your diet is sugar.

Sugar is incredibly fattening. Once in your body, it triggers an insulin response and almost immediately gets stored as fat. Foods that are high in starch and simple carbohydrates, such as potatoes and very processed grains, will have a similar response. Some diets instruct you to eat more whole grains and protein. This is the reason behind it.

For example, if you eat an average of 2900 calories per day and a reduction in sugary and starchy foods (such as soda and sugary juices) cuts your daily calorie count to 2700, you will steadily lose weight.

If a several hundred calorie reduction doesn’t help you lose weight, try a hundred more until you’re happy with the pace you’re going.

In order to cope with the lack of sugars (and fats, which are calorie rich), increase the intake of protein. This will also help you retain muscle mass as you drop pounds.

It’s a good idea to time your meals to ingest carbs and fats early and midday, and protein at night. This will allow your body all day to burn off the carbs and fat, leaving you protein at night to fill you up and preserve muscle while your body burns off some weight.

Diet pills are often advertised as being a sort of miracle cure. Many people try them and stop after a few weeks, not seeing results. The amount most diet pills increase your metabolic rate of burn is insignificant – where they CAN help is to curb your appetite while dieting. A lot of successful dieters I have consulted with supplement their diet with pills to help them during the tough times simply adjusting to eating less.

If you’re planning on trying the above method, picking up a pill regimen can increase your odds of success.

Obesity ? Types and Treatment

Obesity is when a person is carrying too much body fat for their height and sex. A person is considered obese if they have a Body Mass Index (BMI) – weight in kilograms divided by their height in meters squared – of 30 or greater. Obesity can happen when you eat more calories than you burn off over a period of time. To most people, the term “obesity” means to be very overweight. Health professionals define “overweight” as an excess amount of body weight that includes muscle, bone, fat, and water. “Obesity” specifically refers to an excess amount of body fat.

Abdominal Obesity and Limb Obesity

Depending on where fat is stored on the body, obesity can be divided in to abdominal obesity and limb obesity. Abdominal obesity is when fat is mostly distributed over the abdomen and back, and limb obesity is when fat is concentrated around the thighs, arms, legs, and buttocks. Abdominal obesity occurs mainly in men; limb obesity occurs primarily in women.

Hereditary

Obesity tends to run in families, which could signify a genetic cause, or, simply a lifestyle cause. People within the same family tend to share similar diet and exercise habits.

ENVIRONMENTALLY INDUCED OBESITY

Environmental factors associated with obesity include recreational eating, cultural and family eating patterns, job environments that provide or encourage the use of calorie-dense foods, the social role of eating (e.g., dinner parties), and sedentary patterns of employment and recreation.

Constitutional Obesity

Obesity starts from infancy to adult. Usually they have family history of Obesity. They have very good appetite from half a year after birth and body fat cell number begins to increase. Their metabolism is slow and synthesis exceeds catabolism. There will be poor cure effect by limiting diet and strengthening exercise. They are not sensitive to insulin.

Treatment

Successful programs for weight loss reduction and maintenance should be started and followed under the care of a physician and/or a nutritionist. A weight-loss program may include:

• Exercise (the Surgeon General has called for 30 minutes of physical activity on most days of the week)

• A low-fat, high-complex carbohydrate, high fiber diet

• Behavior modification to change eating behavior

• Social support

• Medications

Diet Therapy

Lifestyle modifications such as increasing physical activity and decreasing calorie intake are recommended instead of “dieting.” Crash diets should definitely be avoided. The best approach to changing your diet is to talk to your doctor to find out what is best for you. Your doctor can provide you with dietary guidelines or refer you to a dietician for further help. Dietary guidelines will differ for each person depending on height, weight, concurrent health conditions, and desired amount of weight loss.

Potential Benefits of Medication Treatment

Over the short term, weight loss in obese individuals may reduce a number of health risks. Studies looking at the effects of weight-loss medication treatment on obesity-related health risks have found that some agents lower blood pressure, blood cholesterol, and triglycerides (fats) and decrease insulin resistance (the body’s inability to use blood sugar) over the short term. However, long-term studies are needed to determine if weight loss from weight-loss medications can improve health.

7 Minute Muscle Review

7 Minute Muscle Review-

7 Minute Muscle is a quite great program in muscle building for those who have very little time to exercise. If you follow the workout routines provided by this program, you can get your muscle building in as little time as possible.

7 Minute Muscle includes an ebook which is less than a hundred pages and 6 downloadable bonus videos. These videos are step by step instructions on how the program works and how to carry out each exercise correctly.

In order to build muscle as fastly as possible, Jon Benson suggests in 7 Minute Muscle Program that we should work on each muscle group in each exercise. And it shows that this style of training is the most effective one.

After a specified workout of the program, the respond of your body should be that you have a pain feeling in your muscles. If you do not have such a feeling, then it means that you do not exercise appropriately, and then you should increase your training intensity and reduce your excersise time.

In fact it has three leves in this program. You can use the level one muscle building program, namely the 7 minute one if you are a beginner. Then the 14 minute one is just suit for you if you are an intermediate trainee. And if you are an elite body builder, you can use the 21 minute program.

Since its appearance, Burn The Fat Feed the Muscle has received a wide publicity. It seems that it has brought gospel to those desperate people racking their brains to look for ways to lose weight. In my opinion, this program does not work for everyone, there are certain factors you need to know before you make the decision. The fact is that most people nowadays are spellbound by fast solutions to lifelong problems. Patience and persistence are missing and it is quite obvious that most people who want to get in shape are reluctant to be committed to the necessary work required by Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle, to some extent, which can also explain why the ads “losing weight in x days” are still in fashion though they prove ineffective and money-consuming. However, Burn The Fat Feed the Muscle does not belong to those fast solutions. As a matter of fact, it is a genuine, long-term solution that works, which requires hard work, patience, persistence, perspiration, determination and personal change.

Therefore, if you are one kind of the person listed below, Burn The Fat Feed the Muscle will not be suitable for you:

You dislike exercise. You prefer to eat less or skip meals to lose weight rather than exercise

You’re not really serious about achieving the body of your dreams.

You’re not prepared to do whatever it takes to make the changes necessary like burn your fat via cardiovascular training, tone and sculpt your body through effective weight training, and consistently eat clean, wholesome and healthy foods

You’d rather keep eating foods that are fatty, high-sugar, high in preservatives and additives and high in salt

You’re still fancying that quick fixes actually do work.

So here is my question for you: are you truly ready to change?

That’s why I do not think Burn The Fat Feed the Muscle works for anyone. If you’re not prepared to really change, no bestselling weight loss program can ever be of any use to you – because if you’re not ready to change, you are not going to change!

My Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle Review

I started using the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle program in July 2009. I not only wanted to lose weight but also have a tone body. I have always had problems losing weight and keeping it off. By building my muscle mass while losing fat I my metabolism has been much higher and the weight is staying off. I went from a size 12 to a size 6 in less than 5 months. My only regret is not finding this program earlier.

Body building champion Tom Venutos e-book while help you be the size you want and have a dramatic increase in energy. Just because the person who designed the program is a body builder you do not have to be a body builder to use the program. This is not just for people who want to be muscular and ripped.

I had a personal trainer in 2005-2006 and I was not able to get the fast and permanent results I got with Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. Tom spends a lot of time discussing nutrition and how your body works. This program allows you to eat what you enjoy eating. Tom tells you how to customize your plan for your needs and goals.

This program includes books that tell you which foods burn fat and which foods turn to fat. I found these books invaluable. There were a lot of foods I thought were really not that bad for me that turned out to be foods that turned into fat. Likewise, there were a lot of foods I thought were not good for me that actually burn fat. I was amazed at the things I was doing wrong in my diets.

I eat a variety of foods and I eat often so I do not get bored or hungry with this program. I also like the fact that I don’t have to take any pills or put any supplements into my body. I really don’t know what is in diet pills and when I have taken them in the past I gained the weight back as soon as I stopped taking the pills.

This system has been proven to work time and time again. I think part of the reason this program has been so successful is because it is one of the easiest and permanent weight loss programs I have ever tried. My husband also tried Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle. He had great success and has had more energy than I ever remember him having. This program is great for both men and women who are trying to decrease their fat, gain muscle and increase their overall health.

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle | Tom Venuto

“Burn the Fat, Feed The Muscle” is one of the few quality fitness guides on the market today. There are far too many people that are only concerned with watching the scale- hoping to read a lower number than “actually” getting fitter/healthier.

What I am about to tell you may seem basic, it may seem obvious, but believe it or not – people DO NOT actually consider it when gaging there health progress…..

When you exercise, either aerobically or with weights, you can’t help it but to burn some fat and build some muscle. Seems obvious enough right? Well then it also makes sense that if you are gaining muscle, which is very dense and thus adding weight, and losing fat, which is less dense than muscle, that you may overall even gain weight in the beginning. Now to the stereotypical dieter, this would constitute a complete and utter failure as the scale is moving in the wrong direction.

I’ll tell you what though, if that person looks in the mirror and not at the scale I guarantee that they will be seeing some serious results.

Now, I’m done rambling, but my point is that a lot of fitness programs today try and get their customers all hung up on “losing pounds in x amount of days”, when in reality that approach is not going to get you where you want to be. If your the type of person that actually wants to attain those hard abs, toned arms and “healthy”/sexy look, then check out “Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle”, its got what it takes to create some real gains!

What You will Achieve When You Lose Fat, Gain Muscle, and Get Fit

You want to change the way you look. You want to achieve a body image that makes you proud. You want to look in the mirror and like what you see. This is something that many people want. In fact, it is the reason why hundreds of companies market diets, pills, and exercise machines that offer empty promises that they will help you achieve that look.

You may have even tried a few of these diets to no avail. Whether you are still trying to gain the image you want or you have veritably given up on the idea, it is important remembering that hope is not lost. There is something you can do that will help you obtain and retain the physique you want.

When you make the decision to follow the process to lose fat, gain muscle, and get trim, you will find that you are much happier with the way you look than if you had attempted any other idea. There are many reasons to work to lose fat and gain muscle. Here are three things you will achieve by doing this.

1. You will get the body that you want. When you focus entirely on losing weight, you may get skinny, but you will still not look the way you want. You will still have the fat, especially in the belly, thighs, and upper arms. No matter how much weight you lose, this fat will not o away and you will not like the way you look.

When you work on burning away the fat and gaining muscle mass, your body, in all areas will become lean and toned. This will achieve that image that you have dreamed of.

2. You will gain a great amount of health. Everyone knows that many of the weight loss products out there are not healthy at all. You probably know a few people who look downright sick because they have starved themselves to become skinny.

When you work instead to lose fat and gain muscle, you will be getting the body you want in a healthy way. In fact, you will be healthier than when you started since excess fat in your body can lead to health problems.

3. You will be getting a long-term answer. The bad thing about diets is that they are temporary. Once you stop the diet, you will be gaining your weight back. You will find yourself on a roller coaster of dieting then gaining then dieting again.

When you choose the lifestyle that leads to fat loss and muscle gain, you will find that the effects are long term.

As you can see, there are many reasons for focusing on losing the fat and building the muscle. You will achieve much, and most of all, you will achieve the body you want.

Lose-2-Gain: Fat Loss & Muscle Gain is the complete guide to how to lose weight while at the same time gaining muscle and tone. If you’re tired of looking at a reflection you’re not proud of and clothes shopping just leaves you depressed, then this guide will help you lose to gain.
